Sources: Taliban restricts government agencies' access to Afghan Telecom's internet

This decision, which is said to have been implemented by direct order of Hibatullah Akhundzada, began in the northern provinces in recent days and has since expanded to other areas.

As a result of this action, many government offices in several provinces of the country have not been connected to the government internet network for the past five days. The disconnection has caused delays in employees' work processes and halted some official activities, raising concerns among government staff.

Taliban officials have not yet explained the reason for this decision or the possibility of employees using personal internet at work.

Informed sources in Kabul say that the Taliban leadership has decided to restrict government offices' access to "Afghan Telecom" internet services.
