Shahrzad Akbar: Russia recognized the Taliban by ignoring their crimes, especially against women

Ms. Akbar wrote on Friday, 13 Saratan, in a post on the social media platform X that Russia has recognized the Taliban despite their crimes.


She wrote: “Russia, by ignoring the ‘Taliban’s crimes against humanity’ and ‘persecution of women,’ has caused sorrow and anger.”

Shahrzad Akbar, former head of the Afghanistan Human Rights Commission, says Russia has recognized the Taliban despite their connections with other terrorist groups.
