Deadly shooting at Michigan church leaves four dead, eight injured

Reports indicate that the attacker first rammed his vehicle into the church's entrance gate and then opened fire on the participants of the ceremony. He also deliberately started a fire inside the building, which spread rapidly.


Police have stated that the attacker was a 40-year-old man from Michigan. The targeted church is located in a residential area with a population of approximately eight thousand people.


Gretchen Whitmer, the Governor of Michigan, condemned the incident and emphasized: "No form of violence, especially in places of worship, is acceptable."


On the other hand, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, in a message on the "Truth Social" network, described the attack as "horrific" and called it a "targeted attack against Christians in America." According to him, the FBI immediately arrived at the scene and began a joint investigation with local and state authorities.

American media have reported that in an armed attack on a Mormon church in city of "Grand Blanc," Michigan, four people were killed, and at least eight others were injured. The attacker was killed following a confrontation with security forces.
