The White House announced that Trump has chronic venous insufficiency.

Caroline Leavitt, the White House spokesperson, stated on Thursday (July 17) that an ultrasound of Trump's legs and arms revealed he is suffering from chronic venous insufficiency, a condition common among individuals over 70 years old.


She added that during additional examinations, "no signs of heart failure, kidney dysfunction, or systemic disease" were observed in Trump.


The White House spokesperson also clarified that Trump does not experience any pain or discomfort due to this condition.


Caroline Leavitt, referring to published images of Donald Trump, said that mild swelling in his ankle and bruising on the back of his hand are due to mild venous insufficiency and frequent handshaking.


She emphasized that these symptoms are mild and not concerning, and the President is in full health.
