Shooting at Brown University in the US; At least two killed, nine injured

The incident occurred during a final exam review session at the private research university Brown. According to reports, the suspect, who is said to have been wearing dark clothing and appeared to be around 30 years old, fled the scene after the shooting.


Providence police and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announced that the search for the suspect is ongoing and urged the public to provide any information about the individual to security forces. In the aftermath of the event, more than 400 law enforcement personnel from local, state, and federal agencies have been deployed near the incident site.


The Office of the President of the United States also announced that Donald Trump, the country's president, has been informed of the incident.

At least two students were killed and nine others wounded following a shooting by an armed individual at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, on Saturday, December 13.
