Attacks against Taliban expand; Resistance Front reports casualties on Taliban in Herat

According to this statement, the attack took place on the evening of Monday, the 4th of Asad (August 26), on an Anten outpost in the areas of Faris district.


According to the National Resistance Front, following this attack, four Taliban weapons fell into the hands of the front's forces.


The statement noted that no harm was done to civilians or National Resistance Front forces in this attack.


The Taliban have not yet reacted to this matter.


This attack coincides with the ongoing clashes in Badakhshan. Meanwhile, following the attack by the "Homeland Corps" and claims of capturing Taliban outposts in Yaftal, reports indicate that clashes between the Freedom Front of Afghanistan and the Taliban in Zibak district have now entered their sixth day.


The Freedom Front has claimed in recent days that it has taken control of some strategic positions in the Zibak heights and has also shot down two Taliban drones. In response, the Taliban have confirmed this incident; however, they have denied losing geographical control.

The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan announced in a statement that its forces, in an attack on a Taliban outpost in Herat province, killed one Taliban fighter and wounded three others.
