Trump: If Iran takes action against me, US response will start with thousands of missiles

Trump also stated that after the launch of the first wave of missiles, thousands more missiles will be fired without interruption toward targets in Iran.

He emphasized that the U.S. armed forces are in a state of full readiness for a one-year period, with the possibility of extension if necessary, and have the capability to carry out extensive operations against all of Iran.

These statements come amid reports in recent days from American and Israeli officials about the existence of a new plan by the Islamic Republic to target Trump.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, Israel has provided Washington with new intelligence indicating Iran's new planning for the assassination of the U.S. President.

This report was published simultaneously with escalating military tensions between Iran and the United States; tensions that, following recent reciprocal clashes and attacks—especially in the Strait of Hormuz region—have entered a new phase and heightened concerns about the possibility of crisis escalation.

Trump had previously announced at the NATO summit in Turkey that his name is at the top of the Islamic Republic's assassination target list.

He described these positions as part of his administration's "maximum pressure" policy against Iran; a policy that includes attacks on Iran's missile, naval, and nuclear facilities. U.S. officials have also reiterated that any action by Iran against leaders of the United States will face a decisive and unprecedented response.

Donald Trump, President of the United States, warned that if the Islamic Republic carries out any assassination operation or attempt to assassinate him, America has already prepared an extensive military plan in advance. According to him, thousands of American missiles are currently ready to fire at targets in Iran, and the necessary orders have already been issued.
