Resistance Front says it killed Taliban mayor for Faizabad, Badakhshan

According to this front, the attack took place today, Thursday, August 13, resulting in the death of the Taliban mayor in Fayzabad along with his bodyguards.


The press release from the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan stated that this attack occurred 100 meters from the Badakhshan provincial governor's compound.


The Taliban have not yet commented on this matter. However, earlier reports from sources indicated that the vehicle carrying Maulvi Abdul Rahman Mansour, the Taliban mayor in Fayzabad, had been targeted in an explosive attack.



The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan stated in a press release that its forces targeted the vehicle carrying the Taliban mayor in Fayzabad, Badakhshan.
