Ahmad Massoud calls on Islamic Republic to cut off “terrorists’ hands” from Iran

Mr. Massoud compared the assassination of General Ekramuddin Sapee to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the former head of Hamas's political office, and emphasized that Iran must "cut short the hand of the terrorists."


Ahmad Massoud, on (Monday, the seventh of Dalwa), during an online memorial prayer ceremony for General Sapee, attributed his killing, along with that of Mohammad Amin Almass, the former commander of an army battalion, to "known enemies" and stressed the continuation of the fight against the Taliban until the "dawn of hope blows" in Afghanistan.


General Ekramuddin Sapee was assassinated last Wednesday in Tehran. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for this attack; however, groups opposed to the Taliban consider this group to be behind it.


Iranian officials, including Hossein Khosh-e Aghbal, the governor of Tehran, have stated that investigations are ongoing and the results will be announced soon. Nevertheless, Tehran police have not yet released any official information about this assassination.

Ahmad Massoud, leader of the National Resistance Front, called on the Islamic Republic to seriously investigate the assassination of former Afghan military personnel in Tehran.
