The Freedom Front announced the dispersal of Taliban forces in Badakhshan.

In a press release, the front claimed that during these battles, the Taliban have suffered "heavy casualties and losses," and the forces of this group have abandoned their positions in several areas and are in the process of dispersing and fleeing.


The Taliban have not yet reacted to these claims or the clashes in Zibak.


The fighting between the two sides began on Saturday, 24 Asad, and is still continuing. The Freedom Front had previously reported on developments in these clashes.


According to the front's press release from yesterday, the Freedom Front forces in the village of Sanglich in Zibak district targeted a Ranger vehicle carrying Taliban members. According to the front, this vehicle was moving during a retreat from the battle line and was equipped with a DShK and light weapons.


The Freedom Front added that following this attack, the Ranger fell into a valley. The front stated that there is currently no information available on the fate of the vehicle's occupants.



The Freedom Front of Afghanistan announced on Sunday that intense clashes between the forces of this front and the Taliban in Zibak district of Badakhshan province are still ongoing.
