Reza Pahlavi: International support for Iranian protesters is on the way

He continued by saying that the protesters are not alone and that global support and assistance will soon reach them.


Referring to the pressures and blows that, according to him, the Iranian people have inflicted on the Islamic Republic, he stressed that the regime should not be given the opportunity to rebuild and regroup.


These remarks came as the Human Rights Organization HRANA reported that in the first 15 days of the protests, at least 538 people were killed and more than 10,600 were arrested.


At the same time, UN Secretary-General António Guterres, expressing deep concern over the widespread violence against protesters and the cutoff of people's access to information, called on Iranian authorities to exercise restraint and respect citizens' rights, including freedom of expression and peaceful assembly.


Prince Pahlavi, referring to the heavy blows the people have dealt to the regime, emphasized that the Islamic Republic should not be given the opportunity to rebuild again, and regarded the widespread presence of the people and the support of the international community as a path to continuing pressure on the regime.

Prince Reza Pahlavi, in his latest message, emphasized the importance of maintaining the people's presence on the main streets of cities and declared that institutions and structures involved in disseminating false government propaganda and cutting off communications are, in his view, "legitimate targets."
