Afghan United Front announces capture of Taliban outpost in Andarab

Meanwhile, earlier, local sources also reported the capture of a Taliban outpost in the Deh-e Salahan Andarab district by opponents, and said that following this incident, Taliban forces conducted searches of the homes of residents in several villages.


This is not the first attack on Taliban positions in Andarab in recent days. Prior to this, a Taliban outpost in the village of Kaseh Tarash in the Qasan Valley had been targeted by rocket fire, after which the Taliban searched the homes of a number of local residents.


In recent months, attacks by anti-Taliban groups have increased in parts of Afghanistan. The United Front of Afghanistan has claimed that forces of this front, in a guerrilla operation on Wednesday night, captured a Taliban outpost in the village of Oulad in the Pul-e Hesar district of Andarab in Baghlan Province.
