Trump: Military option against Iran still on the table

He emphasized: "Either we reach an agreement, or we will be forced to do something very difficult."


Trump added that recent negotiations with Iran in Oman are entirely different from previous talks, and this time Tehran has adopted a softer approach. Despite expressing optimism about the path of diplomacy, he stressed Washington's readiness to bolster its military presence in the region.


The U.S. President clarified that any agreement with Iran should not be limited solely to the nuclear dossier but must also encompass the country's ballistic missile program. He described it as a "matter of course" and announced efforts to increase pressure on Iran.


Trump stated that an aircraft carrier along with its strike group might be deployed to the Middle East to strengthen America's position in the negotiations and compel Tehran to reach an agreement.


He also said that in his meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, he would discuss the issue of Iran and believes that Netanyahu is also seeking a good agreement and is not under pressure.

Donald Trump, President of the United States, warned in an interview with Israel's Channel 12 that if negotiations with Iran fail, Washington might resort to military action similar to last year's "12-Day War."
