Houthis claim responsibility for attacks on targets in Saudi Arabia

The Houthi armed forces announced on Saturday, 28th of Solstice, that these attacks were in response to Saudi Arabia's airstrikes as well as Riyadh's accusation that the Houthis had targeted Mecca. The group has claimed responsibility for both operations.


The Houthis rejected reports from Saudi media about civilian casualties in their statement. They also said that some explosions, which Saudi Arabia holds the Houthis responsible for, may have resulted from the unsuccessful performance of this country's air defense systems.


The group has also announced that attacks against Saudi military positions and gatherings will continue. The Houthis emphasized that they will not halt their operations against this country until the Saudi attacks stop and the siege of Yemen ends, and they will pursue a policy of "siege against siege and escalation against escalation."



Yemen's Houthis announced that they had carried out two operations against targets in Saudi Arabia. The group stated in a statement that one of the attacks had targeted what it called "sensitive targets" in Riyadh, and the other operation was against Aramco company facilities in the city of Yanbu.
