Afghanistan ranked as Uzbekistan's third largest export market

In this list, Russia holds the first position with nearly $2.4 billion, and China is second with $1.4 billion. Afghanistan has also been the third major market for Uzbekistan's export goods after these two countries.


The $961.5 million value of Uzbekistan's exports to Afghanistan has enabled the country to surpass markets such as Kazakhstan, France, and Turkey, strengthening its position among Uzbekistan's key trading partners.


The growth in trade between Kabul and Tashkent in recent years has also been reflected in the increase in Uzbekistan's exports to Afghanistan. The bulk of these exchanges includes exports of electricity, food products, construction materials, and industrial goods from Uzbekistan to Afghanistan.



The National Statistical Committee of Uzbekistan has announced that Afghanistan has become the third largest export destination for the country in the first half of 2026. According to the published statistics, the value of Uzbekistan's exports to Afghanistan in the first six months of this year reached $961.5 million.
