Seven killed in traffic accident in Badakhshan

According to local sources, this accident occurred yesterday in the Maymay district. Witnesses say that a passenger vehicle veered out of the driver's control on one of the secondary roads and met with an accident.


Based on information provided by local security officials, the injured from this incident were promptly transferred to the central hospital, and their health condition is under medical care.


Officials have cited the driver's carelessness and the poor condition of the roads in the area as the main causes of this incident.


Local residents have also criticized the poor state of the roads and the lack of standard transportation facilities, calling for serious attention from relevant authorities to improve transportation infrastructure in this district.

Following a heartbreaking traffic incident in Badakhshan province, at least seven people have lost their lives and two others have been injured.
