Afghan United Front announces killing of Taliban member in Zabul

The front had previously announced two separate attacks against Taliban members in Kandahar and Khost. According to the United Front, its forces targeted and killed a "Taliban police" member on Wednesday night, 18th of Virgonay (September 9), in the 15th security district of Kandahar city, who was involved in extortion, arbitrary detentions, and harassing people.

The United Front has also claimed that its forces targeted Mohammad Wali Jan Adl Yar, a senior member of the Taliban's Promotion of Virtue department, in the center of Khost province.

The front stated that individuals involved in enforcing "inhumane" restrictions, dishonoring, and harassing people will not be safe anywhere in Afghanistan. These claims come as the Taliban has so far neither confirmed nor denied the alleged attacks by the United Front.

In recent weeks, the United Front has also reported several attacks against Taliban members in Kandahar. Meanwhile, the Freedom Front of Afghanistan recently announced an attack on a Taliban gathering in Kunar province.

The United Front of Afghanistan says its forces have killed a Taliban army member in Zabul province. The front stated in a press release issued early Friday, 20th of Virgonay (September 11), that this Taliban member was serving in the 3rd Brigade of the 205 Al-Badr Corps.
