IRGC: Britain will be a legitimate target of the Islamic Republic if it supports America

In his statements, Mohammadi emphasized that this warning is not directed solely at Britain, and according to him, the countries of the Persian Gulf region and other governments that side with the United States will also be regarded as legitimate targets of the Islamic Republic if they support Washington in a war.


The IRGC spokesman, referring to the recent use of British military bases by American bombers, claimed that if London accompanies any military action by the United States against Iran, this country will become a "definite and legitimate target" for the Islamic Republic.


He once again stressed that from the IRGC's viewpoint, any form of military cooperation with the United States in a potential war against Iran could place that country on the Islamic Republic's list of targets.


These remarks come as the IRGC spokesman has warned against any potential support from Britain and other countries for the United States in a military conflict with Iran, deeming it a pretext for retaliatory action by the Islamic Republic.

Hossein Mohammadi, the spokesman for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, has warned that any country which, in the event of a potential war against Iran, supports the United States will be considered a "legitimate target" from the perspective of the Islamic Republic. He made these remarks on Saturday in an interview with the Tasnim News Agency.
