US official: The Iranian people have decided for change

Josh Gottheimer, a member of the U.S. Congress, stated in a post on the social network "X" that Iranian citizens, despite pressures and restrictions, have bravely stood against what he called the "tyrannical actions of the government."


He added that this resistance shows that the people of Iran have decided to change their destiny and strive for a better future.


According to this U.S. official, the recent protest movements are a reflection of widespread dissatisfaction among various segments of Iranian society, and the international community must hear the voice of these people.


Previously, Donald Trump, the President of the United States, had also stated in remarks that if the Iranian government resorts to violent measures against the protesters, America will stand by the people and take action to support them.

In the wake of escalating unrest in Iran, one Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives has emphasized that the people of this country can no longer tolerate their government's behavior and are demanding fundamental changes.
