Sadat, in a note posted on his account on the social network X, has commended the services and activities of Abdul Basir Achakzai during the struggle against the Taliban.


According to this announcement, the granting of this rank is in recognition of Achakzai's services in the field of protecting and supporting the security and defense forces of Afghanistan, as well as the successful and effective operations of the forces under his command in the freedom-seeking struggle against the "Taliban regime."


Sami Sadat has also stated that five brothers of Abdul Basir Achakzai "have been martyred in the defense of the homeland," and the family of this commander has endured a great sacrifice in the path of freedom.

The United Afghanistan Front, led by Sami Sadat, announced on August 1 that it had begun its military operations against the "Taliban and other terrorist groups" in Afghanistan.


Sadat had previously given a 15-day ultimatum to former members of Afghanistan's security and defense forces who are now cooperating with the Taliban to leave the ranks of this group. He had warned that after the end of this period, those who continue to cooperate with the Taliban would be placed on the list of "military targets."
