Islamic Republic official: We have the right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic emphasized: "We have the right to use nuclear energy for peaceful purposes."


Ismail Baghaei also clarified that the current process and the presence of senior Pakistani officials in Tehran show that diplomatic efforts have reached a turning point or a decisive stage.

Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, says that regarding nuclear issues, the matter is clear and Iran is a member of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
