In a press release issued on Monday, the 4th of Jowza, by the Taliban Ministry of Defense, it was stated that senior security and defense officials from a number of regional and global countries will be present at this summit, and the Taliban Minister of Defense will also participate in it at the official invitation of Russia.

This trip is taking place even as Russia and China, about two weeks ago, once again warned of threats stemming from terrorism in Afghanistan. The two countries, following the visit of the President of Russia to China, emphasized in a joint statement that the activities of terrorist groups in Afghanistan continue to pose a serious danger to regional and global security.

Moscow and Beijing stated in that declaration that the insecurity and presence of extremist groups in Afghanistan constitute a threat not only to the country itself, but also to the countries of the region and the international community.

Russia is currently the only country that has recognized the Taliban administration; however, despite this, Russian officials have repeatedly expressed their concerns about the security situation in Afghanistan.

Sergey Shoigu, Secretary of Russia's Security Council, also stated on the 24th of Sawr that the ongoing instability in Afghanistan is one of the most important security threats within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Nearly five years after the Taliban's return to power, China and Russia still believe that no practical and effective action has been taken to address security concerns, and for this reason, they continue to emphasize the dangers arising from Afghanistan.

The Taliban Ministry of Defense has announced that Yaqub Mujahid has arrived in the city of Moscow to participate in an international security summit hosted by Russia. This summit is being held with the aim of examining issues related to regional security, shared challenges, and the expansion of security cooperation among countries.
