According to this organization, Salman Port, the headquarters of the U.S. Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, and the Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait were among the targets of these attacks.


The IRGC also claimed to have shot down a U.S. MQ-9 drone that intended to intervene during the operation.


However, these claims have not yet been confirmed by the United States or any independent sources.


Meanwhile, Kuwait's General Staff of the Army announced that the country's air defense systems are countering hostile missile and drone attacks.


The organization added that if explosions are heard, they would result from the interception of hostile targets by air defense systems.


In Bahrain as well, warning sirens sounded.


Bahrain's Ministry of Interior, on the social network X, urged citizens to remain calm and seek shelter in the nearest safe location.


These warnings were issued after the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced that, in response to the latest U.S. attacks, it would deliver a "crushing response."


Earlier, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) had announced the launch of a new wave of its military operations and stated that this action was in response to recent attacks by the Islamic Republic against commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz. According to this statement, CENTCOM forces, using precision-guided munitions, had struck more than 80 targets.


The statement specified that the attack targets included air defense systems, command and control centers, coastal radars, anti-ship missile capabilities, and more than 60 IRGC fast boats in the Strait of Hormuz and its surrounding areas.


CENTCOM emphasized that this operation was aimed at degrading the Islamic Republic's ability to continue attacks against international shipping.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that, in response to the early-morning U.S. attacks on Iran, it had carried out a joint operation using missiles and drones, targeting 85 U.S. military sites in Bahrain and Kuwait.
