Four Taliban members killed in Freedom Front rocket attack on Faryab Appeals Court

The front stated in a press release that its forces had targeted the Taliban Appeals Court headquarters building in the center of Faryab province with a rocket attack.


According to the press release, the attack took place yesterday evening, Thursday (January 1), on a building where a meeting of forces known as the judicial police was being held—forces that operate as the Taliban’s enforcers for the Ministry of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.


The press release stated that the planned operation lasted approximately 15 minutes and, as a result, four Taliban forces were killed and two others were wounded.


The Taliban has not yet reacted to this incident.

The Afghanistan Freedom Front announced that it carried out a rocket attack on the Taliban Appeals Court building in Faryab.
