Sources: Jumah Khan Fateh was beaten at Kabul airport and handed over to Taliban intelligence

According to the sources, following clashes between Taliban forces and individuals affiliated with Joma Khan Fatah in Badakhshan, the Taliban have halted travel between the villages of Qowghdez, Wojum, and Nesi.


These sources said on Monday, 26 Asad, that more than 100 mine workers from Nesi in the upper Wojum area have been unable to return to their homes.


Simultaneously with the travel restrictions, Taliban forces have begun house-to-house search operations and disarming individuals in these areas.


The sources also say that a number of individuals affiliated with Joma Khan Fatah have fled to the villages of Shoryan and Jowey, and in Qowghdez, only elderly individuals remain along with Mohammad Yasin, the logistics chief of this group.

Local sources say that Joma Khan Fatah, upon arriving at Kabul airport, was beaten by Taliban forces and then handed over to this group's intelligence.
