Reuters reported on Tuesday, citing two informed sources, that at least 150 American soldiers were wounded during the first 10 days of hostilities with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Prior to the publication of this report, Pentagon officials had disclosed only eight cases of serious injuries among American personnel.

However, following the release of the Reuters report, the Pentagon issued a statement putting the number of wounded at approximately 140, emphasizing that the majority had sustained minor injuries.
