Conflicts expand; Resistance Front: We targeted Taliban positions in Karan-e-Manjan

According to this front, the attack took place on the evening of Monday, August 4, in the Kran wa Munjan district.


The Resistance Front claimed that as a result of this attack, one Taliban fighter was killed and two others were wounded.


This front added that its forces returned to their positions after carrying out the operation.


This attack occurred amid ongoing clashes in Badakhshan. Meanwhile, following an assault by the "Homeland Corps" and claims of capturing Taliban outposts in Yaftal, reports indicate that clashes between the Freedom Front of Afghanistan and the Taliban in the Zebak district have now entered their fifth day.


The Freedom Front has claimed in recent days that it has seized control of several strategic positions in the Zebak heights and shot down two Taliban drones. In response, the Taliban have confirmed this incident but denied losing geographical control.

The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan announced in a statement that its forces targeted a Taliban position in the Kran wa Munjan district of Badakhshan province.
