Powerful explosion in Kabul; Chinese citizens targeted in Shahr-e-Naw

According to witnesses to this incident, Chinese citizens were the main target of this explosion. This event took place near a Chinese restaurant in the Shahr-e Naw area of Kabul.


A video released from this incident shows that as a result of the explosion, the sign and sections of the Chinese restaurant "Makaroni Lan Zhu Beef" were severely damaged and destroyed.


However, witnesses say that in this incident, a number of Chinese citizens and Afghan civilians were injured.


Some witnesses also speculate that this explosion may have been caused by a suicide bomber attack.


Meanwhile, Khalid Zadran, spokesperson for the Taliban police in Kabul, has confirmed the occurrence of this explosion and stated that it occurred in the flower-selling alley of the Shahr-e Naw area of Kabul and has left casualties.


According to him, investigations into the circumstances of this explosion have begun.

Local sources, by sending images to Exile, say that a powerful explosion occurred in the Shahr-e Naw area of Kabul on Monday afternoon.
