Freedom Front: We targeted foreign terrorists supporting the Taliban in Zibak, Badakhshan

According to the Freedom Front, in this attack, two foreign fighters were killed and three others wounded.

The Front's newsletter stated: "Freedom Front fighters identified and targeted a number of foreign collaborators and supporters of the Taliban terrorist group, who were unfamiliar with the local language of the region and intended to join Zibak for combat against the Freedom Front fighters."

The Freedom Front added that the presence of foreign terrorist groups alongside the Taliban in the war against its forces indicates that Afghanistan under Taliban rule continues to serve as a safe haven and breeding ground for the reproduction and expansion of international terrorism.

The Taliban has not yet responded to this claim.

This is the first time an anti-Taliban front has reported targeting foreign terrorists in Afghanistan.

This attack comes as political-military groups opposed to the Taliban have intensified their assaults in Badakhshan Province in recent days and weeks. According to sources, Taliban opponents have carried out attacks against Taliban forces in Yaftal, Dara-yi Alam, Zibak, Keshem, and several other areas of the province.

The Freedom Front of Afghanistan has announced in a newsletter that its forces targeted foreign terrorists supporting the Taliban in an organized ambush along the route leading to Zibak District in Badakhshan Province.
