Ronaldo and Georgina's wedding ceremony is taking place

Ronaldo's representatives at the public relations agency "Brunswick Group" confirmed the event to Agence France-Presse, stating that the couple's wedding took place in a "private and intimate" setting with their five children in attendance.


Ronaldo and Georgina first met in 2016, when Georgina was working at a Gucci store in Madrid. Georgina later described this encounter as "love at first sight."


The wedding ceremony comes exactly one year after the couple announced their engagement. Georgina, the 32-year-old model and influencer, shared the news of her engagement to Ronaldo on her Instagram page last year.


Georgina, who gained even greater fame through her appearance in the Netflix documentary "I Am Georgina," had previously told "Vogue Arabia" magazine in an interview that from their very first meeting, she felt a sense of calm and special energy with Ronaldo, as if the two had known each other for a long time.


In addition to their shared life, the couple also has joint business ventures and has invested in areas such as clothing brands and hotel collections. The combined number of followers of Ronaldo and Georgina on social media exceeds 750 million.
