White House: Only Trump knows what his decision is on Iran

Leavitt said in a statement: "The President has rightly kept a wide range of options on the table and, as he has always done, will make decisions that are in the best interest of America and the world."


Earlier, NBC News reported, citing sources close to the White House, that Donald Trump has told the U.S. national security team that any military action against Iran must be swift and decisive and must not lead to a protracted war that lasts weeks or months.


Meanwhile, an Israeli official also told Reuters that it appears U.S. President Donald Trump has made his decision to intervene militarily; however, details regarding the scope and timing of its implementation remain unclear.

Caroline Leavitt, spokesperson for the White House, announced that no one except President Donald Trump knows what decision he will make regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran.
