National Independence Fronts Call Taliban Actions an “Inhuman Disaster”

This anti-Taliban group has described the detention of women and the crackdown on civil protests in Herat as a "shocking and inhumane disaster" and has emphasized that these actions constitute a blatant violation of human rights and the fundamental freedoms of citizens, particularly women.


This anti-Taliban military movement has claimed that, in response to this situation, it has planned targeted attacks against positions and individuals affiliated with the Taliban's security structures and Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, and has described this process as part of "resistance against suppression."

The statement states that the goal of these actions is "to create pressure on the ruling structure to halt detentions, violent crackdowns, and social restrictions."


Meanwhile, Taliban officials have not yet responded to this matter, and the details of these claims have not been independently verified.

The National Front for the Independence of Afghanistan has announced in a statement that, in response to what it calls the "suppression of women and violent treatment of protesters" in Herat province, it has planned "retaliatory" operations against Taliban forces of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice.
