Trump: The next attack on the Islamic Republic will be much more severe

Trump continued by emphasizing that this force, like the Venezuela mission, is fully prepared to execute its mission with resolve and intensity if necessary. He once again stressed the need to prevent the Islamic Republic from acquiring nuclear weapons and said he hopes Iran will soon enter into serious negotiations to reach a "fair and equitable" agreement; an agreement without nuclear weapons that benefits all parties. According to him, time is short and the situation is highly urgent.


The U.S. President also, referring to his previous warnings, added: "I had told Iran before to make a deal; but it didn't happen, and the result was Operation Midnight Hammer and widespread destruction. The next attack will be far more severe. Don't let such a thing happen again."


According to reports, the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln has recently entered the Middle East region and is stationed near Iran. Trump had previously warned, while announcing support for Iranian protesters, that if they were brutally suppressed, Washington would respond. Reports have emerged of protesters being killed by the Islamic Republic, and Trump had previously said that "help is on the way."


Meanwhile, coinciding with this fresh warning, Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, announced that in recent days, there has been no direct contact between Tehran and Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump's special envoy, and no formal request for negotiations has been made. He added that some countries are acting as intermediaries in ongoing consultations, and communication with them continues.
