Australian Prime Minister: The Iranian people deserve freedom and human dignity

He described the Iranian government as a repressive regime that not only exerts pressure on its own citizens but has also played a negative role at the regional and global levels.


Albanese, in response to a question about the possibility of Australia's participation in any military action by the United States against Iran, stated that Canberra currently has no specific plans or reviews in this regard.


According to him, Australia's primary concern is the alarming human rights situation in Iran, where a large number of citizens have faced violence, detention, and punishment simply for demanding their basic rights.


The Prime Minister of Australia further added that the Iranian government has repeatedly disregarded humanitarian principles and universal values, and these behaviors have led Australia to summon the Iranian ambassador in response to the interference by Tehran-affiliated institutions in certain events.


He reiterated that Australia will continue its political and moral support for the people of Iran and believes that the future of this country must be built on the foundations of freedom, justice, and respect for human dignity.

Anthony Albanese, the Prime Minister of Australia, has sharply criticized the performance of the Iranian government, emphasizing that his country stands with the people of Iran and supports their legitimate demands regarding human rights and human dignity.
