Nationwide protests in Iran; Dozens arrested, 7 killed

According to HRA, the protests have spread to at least 32 cities across various provinces of Iran. During this period, protesters in various cities have chanted slogans against the Islamic Republic, Ali Khamenei, and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.


They have also chanted slogans in support of Prince Reza Pahlavi and Reza Shah Pahlavi, as well as slogans with themes such as "Death to the Dictator," "Woman, Life, Freedom," and support for women's and citizens' rights.


These protests began on Sunday amid the worsening economic conditions; protesters, in response to the government's handling of the sharp decline in the value of the national currency and the rapid rise in prices, took to the streets in various cities across Iran.


Fars News Agency has reported that during an attack on a police station in Lorestan Province, three protesters were killed and at least 17 others were injured.


These unrests are considered the largest wave of protests in the Islamic Republic of Iran in the past three years and have turned violent in several provinces, while still continuing to spread.

HRA News Agency has reported that, following five days of nationwide protests in Iran, at least 119 people have been arrested so far and seven others have been killed.
