Taliban Governor in Badakhshan: Anyone who opposes will be killed or captured

Najib, speaking on Sunday, October 4 [12 Mizan], at the inauguration ceremony of the Wakhan–China transit road, said people can travel to all parts of Badakhshan at any hour of the day or night.

He claimed that no area is under the control of Taliban opponents and that they lack the ability to seize any region.

The Taliban governor also warned that no individual can engage in "hostility and rebellion" against this group. He stated that anyone who opposes the Taliban or takes action against them will face killing, imprisonment, and harsh treatment.

These remarks come as, over the past week, at least three explosions have targeted officials and Taliban forces in the city of Fayzabad. In the most recent incident, on Sunday morning, an explosion in the sixth district of the city struck a Taliban intelligence vehicle; the National Resistance Front has claimed responsibility for the attack and reported the killing of the Taliban's deputy intelligence chief and two other members of the group.

Rahmatullah Najib, the Taliban governor in Badakhshan, has announced that security is fully ensured across Afghanistan, particularly in this province, and there are no security issues. He also dismissed media reports about recent security incidents in Badakhshan.
