The front announced on the evening of Friday, 20 Virgonay (September 11), through a press release published on its X page, that this operation was carried out against two Taliban fighters.

The press release stated that the killed individuals had been oppressing and extorting the local population by exploiting the name of religion.

The United Front also criticized the Taliban’s views, stating: “The Islam constructed by Hibatullah is not acceptable to the people of Afghanistan.”

This claim comes as attacks by anti-Taliban groups against the group have increased in various parts of Afghanistan in recent weeks.

The United Front of Afghanistan has claimed that two Taliban members were killed as a result of a targeted operation in the city of Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand Province.
