Sami Sadat: More than 184 former soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan in the past three months

According to him, evidence and documented cases indicate that a number of these individuals were subjected to torture prior to being killed.


Sadat has also warned of the increasing threats against former military personnel who are being deported from Iran and Turkey and returned to Afghanistan, stating that this process has exposed them to even more serious dangers.


The former commander of Afghanistan's security and defense forces has emphasized that all these incidents will be documented and pursued, and that those responsible for the killings, torture, and other human rights violations must be held accountable before the law. He has further stressed that no government can build its future on a foundation of fear and violence.


In another part of his message, he has urged the people not to view the victims merely as numbers and statistics, but to remember them as Afghan citizens and soldiers who served in the ranks of the country's security and defense forces.
