Israeli envoy calls for urgent Security Council meeting on Iran's bloody crackdown on protests

He, referring to alarming reports of the killing and injuring of a large number of Iranian citizens in recent days, has emphasized that silencing the voice of protest through force and threats not only does not resolve the crisis but also deepens it.


This Israeli diplomat has also stated that the international community has a moral responsibility toward these developments and should not remain silent in the face of the suppression of protesters. According to him, the people of Iran deserve global support and attention, and their efforts to achieve freedom and justice must be taken seriously.

Israel's permanent representative to the United Nations has warned that the continuation of violence against protesters in Iran has turned into a serious human rights crisis and that the Security Council must convene without delay to examine this situation.
