Tensions rise; Iran urges US allies to prevent Washington attack

The Iranian official, whose name was not disclosed, added that the Islamic Republic has asked U.S. allies to "prevent Washington's military action against Iran." On the other hand, an Israeli official said that the security cabinet, chaired by Benjamin Netanyahu, was briefed on Tuesday about the possibility of the Iranian regime's collapse or U.S. intervention in the country.

A senior official of the Islamic Republic informed Reuters on Wednesday that, following threats from Donald Trump, the Islamic Republic has warned U.S.-allied countries in the Middle East that if the United States attacks Iran, American bases on their soil will be targeted.
