Trump: We support new attack if Iran continues with its plans

He said any potential military action would be more severe than the previous 12-day conflict.


Trump told reporters that the United States is aware of Iran's recent activities and emphasized that Tehran should not move toward creating new facilities. He added that Washington prefers not to use the military option; but this option remains on the table.


Netanyahu, who traveled to the United States to meet with Trump, said Israel does not want conflict; but he will share concerns about Iran's activities with Washington.


Late last month, Israel's airstrike on Iran led to a 12-day war that ended with direct U.S. participation and the bombing of Iran's nuclear facilities.


U.S. officials stated that the goal of this action was to prevent the expansion of Iran's nuclear program.


Trump also referred to the suppression of domestic protests in Iran and said the security forces' response to protesters has resulted in the killing of citizens.

Donald Trump, President of the United States, warned that he would support a new attack on Iran if its missile and nuclear programs continue, coinciding with Benjamin Netanyahu's trip to Washington.
