Resistance Front: We killed Taliban deputy in Badakhshan

In a press release, the front stated that this attack took place around 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 4 [12 Mizan], in the sixth district of Feyzabad city, and as a result, no civilians were harmed. According to information from sources, in this incident, a motorcycle rigged with explosives detonated.


Local sources had previously reported an explosion in the sixth district of Feyzabad and stated that Safullah Mutawakkil, a member of the Taliban intelligence in Badakhshan, was the target of the attack. According to these sources, Mutawakkil was seriously injured, and one of his bodyguards had been killed.


The National Resistance Front has not disclosed the name of the Taliban intelligence deputy whom it claims was killed in this attack. The Taliban has also not yet commented on this incident and has not confirmed the killing of this official.


The National Resistance Front of Afghanistan has claimed that forces of this front, in a targeted operation in the city of Feyzabad, the capital of Badakhshan, killed the Taliban intelligence deputy in this province along with two of his bodyguards.
