Young Afghan man arrested after attacking several people at a hospital in the UK

According to police, the attacker used a metal object to carry out this assault.


The incident occurred on (Monday, January 8), around 12:00 local time. According to police, this Afghan refugee had come to the hospital to get an appointment; but after his request was denied, he became angry and attacked several people.


Sarah Routham, Merseyside Police chief, said: "We received reports of aggressive behavior by one individual, and officers were immediately dispatched to the scene. This individual was quickly arrested."


It is said that the injured are under medical care and their condition has not been reported as serious or life-threatening. Police added that the accused has been arrested on multiple charges, including intentional harm, causing public disorder, and damaging public property, and is currently being interrogated at a police station.

Merseyside Police in Britain announced that a 20-year-old Afghan man has been arrested following an attack on five people in the waiting room of Newton Hospital.
