Sources: Freedom Front shoots down two Taliban drones in Badakhshan's Zibak district

A video obtained by Exile Television from the scene of the incident shows the wreckage of the downed drones in a mountainous area.


Despite the publication of this report, the Freedom Front, which has been engaged in clashes with Taliban forces in Zibak district over the past two days, has not yet officially commented on the downing of these two drones.


Earlier, local sources in Badakhshan said that a helicopter carrying Taliban reinforcements was also targeted by rocket fire from "Afghanistan Freedom Front" forces on Friday evening in Badakhshan province; an attack that, according to them, prevented the deployment of these forces in mountainous areas.


Sources confirm that sporadic clashes between the Taliban and Freedom Front forces continued throughout Friday as well. According to them, the Freedom Front forces have managed to retain control of the outposts they had previously taken from Taliban control.


According to the same sources, the clashes between the two sides began on Thursday and have continued sporadically to date.

Local sources in Badakhshan say that forces of the Freedom Front shot down two Taliban drones in the Zibak district of the province around noon on Saturday.
