Three killed, dozens injured in 34 traffic incidents in Ghazni during Eid al-Adha

According to the Taliban police command in Ghazni, speeding, failure to observe traffic rules, and driver negligence were the main factors behind these incidents.


Traffic accidents continue to rank among the deadliest events in Afghanistan. Experts cite road deterioration, excessive speed, and weakness in adhering to driving principles as the most important factors in the rising road fatalities.


Meanwhile, just recently, following the overturning of a vehicle carrying returnees from Pakistan in Laghman province, at least 20 people were killed and 33 others wounded.

Taliban security officials in Ghazni province say that during the days of Eid al-Adha, 34 traffic incidents occurred in this province, resulting in at least three people killed and 34 others wounded.
