Eleven killed in fatal bus-truck collision in southern Brazil

According to information released by Brazil's Federal Police, the accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on one of the highways in the state of "Rio Grande do Sul." In this incident, a passenger bus collided directly with a truck, with the force of the impact causing the complete destruction of both vehicles.


Security officials have stated that rescue and relief teams arrived at the scene immediately and transferred the injured to nearby hospitals. The conditions of some of the wounded have been reported as critical; however, no further details have yet been provided regarding the main cause of this event.


The Federal Police have announced that investigations to clarify the circumstances of this accident have begun, and the results will be shared with the media after the completion of the inquiries.


This accident is considered one of the deadliest traffic incidents in southern Brazil in recent days.
