Taliban cabinet members made nearly 100 foreign trips in one year

Mr. Mujahid, on (Wednesday, 10 Jadi), coinciding with the end of the year 2025 AD, wrote in a note on the X network that these trips were conducted with economic, commercial, and diplomatic objectives.


More than 60 senior Taliban members, including Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Sirajuddin Haqqani, the Minister of Interior Affairs, are on the United Nations sanctions list. Nevertheless, the United Nations has issued travel exemptions in some cases for senior Taliban officials.


Mujahid also announced that the number of trained forces of the Taliban Ministry of Defense in this year has reached more than 181,000 personnel. He added that the Taliban has also trained 100,300 police forces in security, criminal, border, and logistical sectors.


Zabihullah Mujahid emphasized that the Taliban has achieved "good progress" in the field of diplomacy and international relations in this year.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for Hibatullah Akhundzada, announced that the deputies and ministers of the Taliban administration had a total of 99 foreign trips in the year 2025 AD.
