United Front: Six Taliban members killed in separate attacks in Helmand

According to information provided by the United Front, in the first incident, its forces attacked a Taliban checkpoint along the Gereshk-Musa Qala highway, resulting in the deaths of five Taliban members. The second attack took place in the area of the ninth security district of Lashkar Gah, the capital of Helmand, and according to the front, one Taliban intelligence member was killed in it.

The United Front has stated that the two operations took place on the 22nd and 23rd of Aqrab (October). The group also released a video of the second attack, in which an individual is seen falling to the ground. However, the Taliban has not yet responded to these incidents, and the claims made by the United Front have not been independently verified.

The United Front of Afghanistan, led by Sami Sadat, a former commander of the Afghan Army's special forces, began military operations against the Taliban on August 1. Over the past two months, the front has also released videos of its attacks, in some of which the bodies of individuals identified by the group as Taliban members can be seen.

According to the front's announcement, most of its recent operations have taken place in Helmand and Kandahar provinces. The United Front previously stated that in the month of Asad (August), it had carried out at least 22 attacks against the Taliban in various parts of Afghanistan.

The United Front of Afghanistan has announced that its forces killed six Taliban members, including one member of the group's intelligence unit, in two separate operations in Helmand Province. The front released details of the attack in two separate statements.
