Axios: US attacks on Islamic Republic halted on Trump's orders

According to Axios, over the past two weeks, Trump had been approving attack plans submitted by the U.S. military every afternoon.


Based on this report, Trump's recent decision indicates that he is seeking to create more opportunity to advance the path of diplomacy, while also believing that the current U.S. attacks have reached the ceiling of their effectiveness.


Informed sources have also told Axios that the U.S. military continues to prepare plans for the potential resumption of large-scale military operations against Iran; however, the U.S. President has not yet issued any orders to execute these programs.


Axios has reported that Trump received another attack plan on Friday as well; but he did not agree to carry it out and ordered the U.S. military to refrain from conducting these attacks.


Nevertheless, shortly after issuing this order, Trump emphasized in a conversation with reporters at the White House that he still retains the authority to resume or even intensify the attacks; an action that, as he stated, could include "destroying everything they have at their disposal."

Axios has reported, citing two informed sources, that Donald Trump, President of the United States, has issued an order to halt the country's attacks against the Islamic Republic following 13 consecutive nights of strikes.
