Iran warns US: US and Israeli military forces will be 'legitimate targets'

This warning came after statements by Donald Trump, the U.S. President, who had said that if protesters are killed, the Islamic Republic would face a military response.


Meanwhile, the nationwide protests against the Islamic Republic of Iran regime have entered their third week, and until Sunday morning, the capital and the country's second-largest city had witnessed widespread presence of protesters in the streets.


According to activists, the number of victims has reached at least 116 people. The U.S.-based Human Rights Activists News Agency has also reported that approximately 2,600 people have been arrested.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of Iran's Parliament, warned on Sunday, 21 Dey, that in the event of an attack by the United States on the Islamic Republic due to the ongoing protests, U.S. and Israeli military forces would become "legitimate targets."
